Rank: Trade Federation Representative
Doltay Dofine at Neimoidia
First seen in Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
The unctuous captain of the Neimoidian blockade over Naboo, Dofine was an officer
in the Trade Federation. Greedy, deceitful and cowardly, Dofine nevertheless
had the wherewithal to openly question Darth Sidious' machinations, for which
he was verbally reprimanded by the Sith Lord. Despite his insubordination, Dofine
remained in command of the blockade's forces. He gave the order to activate the
droids on the surface of Naboo. Dofine perished aboard the Droid Control Ship
when Naboo star fighter forces destroyed the vessel. |

Geonosian at Geonosis
First seen in Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones
An insectoid species divided into castes, the Geonosians are native to the harsh
rocky world of Geonosis. Geonosians construct immense, organic-looking spires
within which reside their hive colonies. There are two main types of Geonosians:
the wingless drones that mostly work as labourers, and the winged aristocrat,
which includes royal warriors serving as scouts and providing security to the
hive. All Geonosians have a hard, chitinous exoskeleton, elongated faces, multi-jointed
limbs, and speak in a strange clicking language. |

name: Lott Dod
Rank: Trade Federation Representative
Lott Dod at Neimoidia
First seen in Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
Lott Dod was the Trade Federation representative in the Galactic Senate during
the events of the siege of Naboo. A filibustering blowhard of a politician, Dod
would use bureaucratic wrangling to further the Federation's aims and hinder
the efforts of those who would expose their chicanery. Despite testimony to the
contrary from Naboo's representatives, Dod vehemently denied any wrongdoing on
the part of the Trade Federation. He demanded that an independent commission
be sent to Naboo to ascertain the veracity of Queen Amidala's claims. This stalling
manoeuvre was seconded by the delegation from Malastare, and Valorum was set
to accept the suggestion. Queen Amidala countered by calling for a Vote of No
Confidence that removed Valorum from his post. |

Rank: Viceroy of the Trade Federation
Nute Gunray at Neimoidia
First seen in Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
Neimoidians are known for their exceptional organizational and business skills,
but Nute Gunray was more cutthroat than most. His unscrupulous nature saw him
ascend to the position of Viceroy of the Trade Federation. As the executive officer
of the Trade Federation, it was Gunray who led the blockade and subsequent invasion
of Naboo. The assurances of Darth Sidious, his shadowy Sith benefactor, led Gunray
down this ambitious and blatantly illegal path. Once Naboo was under siege, Gunray
attempted to force the planet's monarch, Queen Amidala, to sign a treaty that
would legitimize the occupation. During the subjugation of the planet, Gunray
proved that he was willing to commit any atrocity in pursuit of commercial gain
and power. He boldly set himself up in the Queen's former throne room, taunting
the planet's governor, Sio Bibble, while Naboo's population suffered the effects
of the embargo. |

private interests. Just prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Argente committed
the forces of Corporate Alliance to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. |

Poggle the Lesser at Geonisis
First seen in Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones
The Archduke of Geonosis, Poggle the
Lesser was the leader of a large colony of Geonosians living within
the rocky spires of the desolate world. Poggle oversaw
the production of battle droids for the Techno Union. He committed his workers
to the growing Separatist cause, and hosted the first meeting of the Confederacy
of Independent Systems on his world. Upon the discovery of Jedi and Senate spies
within his domain, Poggle presided over their trial. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala
and Anakin Skywalker were found guilty of espionage and sentenced to be executed
as per Geonosian traditions. Though a dangerous misstep in diplomacy, Poggle
laughed off any concerns of executing such esteemed Republic representatives.
The Geonosians were weapons-builders, he reasoned; surely they would be prepared
for any fallout. |

Rune Hakko at Neomoidia
First seen in Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
A cowardly Neimoidian official, Rune Haako had no shortage of despair during
the Trade Federation blockade and invasion of Naboo. As lieutenant to Viceroy
Nute Gunray, Haako was privy to his superior's plans and knew of the mysterious
Sith patron who was the true mastermind behind their bold manoeuvres. Haako,
when beyond Sith earshot, openly questioned Gunray's judgment in striking this
terrifying alliance. The worry-faced pessimist predicted disaster throughout
the occupation. When Queen Amidala retook her besieged capital of Theed, Haako
and Gunray were captured and sent to Coruscant for trial and punishment. |

name: Wat Tambor
Rank: Foreman
Wat Tambor at Metalorn
First seen in Episode 2 - Attack
of the Clones
A consummate industrialist, Wat Tambor was the Foreman of the Techno Union,
a galactic institution concerned with technological innovation. Tambor was
eager to escape from the choking bureaucracy of the Republic Senate, and
readily joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He not only committed
his army of battle droids to the cause, but also hosted the meeting of the
Separatists minds at one of the Techno Union's droid foundries on Geonosis.
As befitting a technocrat, Wat Tambor is entirely encased in machinery and
is even reliant on technology to speak. His deep, resonant voice is strangely
mechanical, modulated by a set of dials built into his torso. |
