Admiral Daala at the Empire
First seen in Champions of the Force
by Kevin J. Anderson (novel)
A beautiful and stunning figure with a cold and ruthless
heart with piercing green eyes, Daala was the highest ranking female
fleet officer in the Empire and a menace to the New Republic. When
she was younger she was the butt of many sexist jokes from other
officers because the Empire was a very sexist group. Women and aliens
both were looked down upon as lesser beings. But Daala persevered
until she caught the eye of Grand Moff Tarkin. Tarkin took her under
his wing as a protégé and a lover. He then spirited her away to
his hidden project, the Maw Installation. He gave her four Star
Destroyers to command there for her protection. The facility itself
produced the plans for both of the Death Stars, the World Devastators,
and the Sun Crusher. Daala was completely isolated in the Maw for
eleven years. Her first "visitors" on a shuttle were Han Solo, Chewbacca,
and Kyp Durron who were newly escaped prisoners from Kessel. After
interrogation of her prisoners, Daala learned of the destruction
of both Death Stars and the World Devastators, as well as the death
of her lover Tarkin. Daala decided to retaliate by unleashing the
Sun Crusher upon the galaxy but before she could do that Kyp, Han,
and Chewie stole it and fled from the Maw. Daala pursued them to
Mon Calamari where she came close to destroying the planet but for
a brilliant tactic by Admiral Akbar to save the planet. Daala lost
two Star Destroyers and retreated. After that she planned to take
back Coruscant, but Kyp Durron intervened with the Sun Crusher and
destroyed a third of Daala's Star Destroyers and came close to destroying
hers, the Gorgon. After attempting to unite the remaining
warlords who served as Imperial leadership, she instead killed them
and took over, and got a new ship, the ISSD Knight Hammer.
Again, she went after Coruscant, and again she lost and barely escaped
with her life. Years later she surfaced again as the leader of the
Independent Company of Settlers, a group of more than 3,000 people
and loyal to the old way of doing things. They purchased a lot of
land on the planet Peduccis Chorios to live out their days. After
the New Republic thwarted Seti Ashgad, Daala was reunited with her
long-lost love, Liegeus Vorn. After that, the Republic decided that
they would leave Daala alone to live out her days in peace. |

the death of Prince Xizor, and he was almost able to capture Palpatine's
shuttle. Vice Admiral Thrawn chased Zaarin back out of Coruscant
and into hyperspace. Later Zaarin came back again and tried to steal
Thrawn's prototype cloaking device. He succeeded in stealing the
corvette that the prototype was installed in and cloaked. He tried
to jump to hyperspace with the cloak engaged, but it wasn't stable
enough for hyperspace travel and the corvette exploded, killing
Zaarin and the crew. |

First seen in Darksaber
Bevel Lemelisk is an inventor who has helped create some
of the more memorable objects in the galaxy. To name two: both Death
Stars. The Death Stars were all his creations. But his flaw in the
first Death Star, an unshielded exhaust port, cost him his life
by death by piranha beetles. But just as he died the Emperor transferred
his brain and memories to a clone. Once was not enough, because
Bevel died six more times in painful but creative ways, each time
Palpatine transferred his mind and memories to a clone. Later, Bevel
went to work for Durga the Hutt, who called him "my pet scientist."
But again the quality of Lemelisk's work was questioned with the
destruction of two expensive ships that were mining asteroids in
the Hoth system. Durga's grand plan, the Darksaber project, was
to have Lemelisk design a Death Star-like laser that the hutt could
use to wreak havoc on the entire galaxy. But this too was a dud
due to poor construction and it was smashed to pieces by asteroids.
Lemelisk made a hasty retreat but was picked up by the New Republic
and held for trial on Coruscant. |

name: Baron Soontir Fel
Rank: Pilot
Baron Fel at his TIE Fighter
First seen in The Hutt Gambit
Fel is the youngest Imperial officer to obtain the rank of
Captain in the Imperial Navy. He has many accomplishments throughout
his long career as an Imperial officer, from piloting to commanding
to training pilots to becoming accepted by the Chiss. Fel was a
peer of Han Solo and Loka Hask at the Imperial Academy at Carida.
Fel constantly defeated Hask at the sims and challenged Solo. Fel's
first questioning of the Empire was at the Battle of Nar Shaada
with the battle tactics of his commanding officer. From there on
it was a downward spiral for Fel until finally he had had enough.
Before this happened he had been re-stationed with the squadron
of fighters under Evir Derricote, the 181st. Shortly thereafter
he met Wynnsa Starflare, or Syal Antilles. Fel had finally had enough
when Ysanne Isard sacrificed a whole squadron of fighters just to
lure the Rogue Squadron to her. Fel then decided that the Empire
wasn't good enough for him, so he took his, now, wife Syal Antilles
Fel, and fled to Chiss space, because previously he had been impressed
with the military tactics of Grand Admiral Thrawn. He served under
Thrawn until Thrawn's death and Fel returned to the Chiss. Fel lost
an eye in the last battle of his career and so he returned to Nirauan
to help with the Hand of Thrawn. Here, he became the father of several
clones of himself which were sent to sleeper cells, awaiting Thrawn's
activation codes. The clones had much of Fel's talent, but none
of his personality. But many of them loved to farm just like Fel
had once upon a time, and many refused the call ten years after
the death of Thrawn. Later it was revealed that Fel and Syal had
had five children, the most memorable of which being Jagged. Jag
and Soontir were both leaders in the Chiss navy and were key in
the Chiss avoiding many battles while the rest of the galaxy fought
the Yuuzhan Vong. After the beginning of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion,
Syal and Soontir retreated to the Chiss home world of Csilla where
they figured they'd be safer from the Yuuzhan Vong. |

name: Cpt. Pellaeon
Rank: from Captain to Grand Admiral
Cpt. Pellaeon at Chimaera
First seen in Heir to the Empire
In his more than fifty years of military service, first to
the Old Republic and then to the Empire, Gilad Pellaeon was always
a military man with a conscience which many people mistook for weakness.
Pellaeon wasn't a survivor because he was a coward, though; he just
thought it was smarter to live to fight another day than commit
some stupid sacrifice. Originally from Corellia, he lied about his
age to get into the Naval Academy where he graduated in the top
third of his class. Quick thinking to avoid pirates on his first
assignment got him an appointment to the command crew of the ISD
>Chimaera. Over the years he worked his way up the chain
to second-in-command, getting the rank of Captain. During the Battle
of Endor the commander of the ship was killed, leaving Pellaeon
in charge of the battle. He took control of the remaining forces
and ordered them to retreat. During the years following that battle,
he worked with others to bring together the remnants of the Empire.
Just when he had almost lost all hope of the Empire getting another
strong leader, Grand Admiral Thrawn came along and picked the Chimaera
as his flagship. Pellaeon made several suggestions and ideas to
Thrawn, but Thrawn didn't use many of them. Pellaeon commanded the
ship in the Battle of Sluis Van. On Thrawn's orders, he hired Niles
Ferrier and Mara Jade to find the long lost Katana Dreadnaught
fleet. Thrawn's problem, Pellaeon knew, was putting too much trust
in those around him. The Battle of Bilbringi wasn't going well for
the Imperials when Thrawn's bodyguard, Rukh, stabbed him in the
back, literally, leaving Pellaeon yet again in charge. He again
ordered a retreat from battle. Years later sees Pellaeon as a vice
admiral and leading High Admiral Teradoc's fleet. He encountered
Admiral Daala who was trying to get the fighting Imperial warlords
together. But since that didn't work, Gilad watched as Daala gassed
them all and took control of the Empire. He went with her to Yavin
IV to help destroy the Jedi Academy there. But his fleet was flung
away from the system by the force storm projected by the Jedi students.
By the time he returned to the system, he found Daala's forces destroyed.
Daala had escaped, but she gave her command over to Pellaeon. Years
later, again, sees Pellaeon with another promotion, this time to
Grand Admiral. He is in charge of the Imperial Navy in the Imperial
Remnant space. The Yuuzhan Vong are attacking the galaxy. The Galactic
Alliance went to him for help and at first the people deny the Alliance
help, but after the Yuuzhan Vong attack the Imperials they realize
it is in their best interests to help the Alliance, just as Pellaeon
had been saying all along. So with Pellaeon's leadership, the Imperials
are brought into a tentative peace with the Galactic Alliance while
they are fighting the common enemy, the Yuuzhan Vong. After the
war, they part ways on good terms and at peace, all thanks to the
handiwork of the Galactic Alliance government, and Gilad Pellaeon.

Rank: Dark Lord of the Sith
Vader at the Emperor's leash
First seen in Episode IV: A New Hope
The embodiment of evil, Darth Vader is responsible for the Jedi
Purge and the murders of many other people, from civilians to other
Imperials. Previously Anakin Skywalker, he had a terrible fall into
a pit of a molten substance and most of his body was destroyed.
Palpatine saved him and designed the life-supporting suit that Vader
now wears. As Obi-Wan said, "He's more machine than man, now."
Vader did many things to hurt the Rebel Alliance, from capturing
the Tantive IV to destroying pilots to killing Obi-Wan Kenobi.
After the destruction of the first Death Star, Vader fled back to
the Empire in his TIE Advanced. He met a force wielder on the planet
Mimban and he lost his right arm in a fight. But he soon discovered
that the Rebel who had destroyed the Death Star was the same who
had cut off his arm: the son he knew he never had. From that point
forward, Vader and Palpatine were bent on converting Luke to the
Dark Side of the force. But Vader had other plans; he would convert
Luke and they would dispose of Palpatine and rule the galaxy as
Father and Son. Vader eventually tracked the Rebels to Hoth but
a commander's screw-up allowed the Rebels to get away with many
of their personnel. Vader hired bounty hunters to hunt for Leia
Organa and Han Solo aboard the Millennium Falcon, and he
used them as bait to lure Luke to Cloud City on Bespin. There on
Bespin, during a fierce lightsabre battle, Darth Vader revealed
the horrible truth to Luke, "I am your father." He tried
to recruit Luke to the dark side, but Luke, who preferred death
to turning, flung himself down the city's main exhaust tube. He
was soon rescued by Lando Calrissian and Leia. Over the next few
months, Vader had to deal with another threat: Prince Xizor, head
of Black Sun, who had become a close confidant of Palpatine. Xizor
attempted to take Vader's place as Palpatine's second-in-command
and kill Luke, but he failed at both. Eventually Luke turned himself
in to the Imperial troops on Endor, where Palpatine had set an elaborate
trap for the Alliance, centred around the second Death Star. Luke,
when brought before the Emperor, pleaded with his father to turn
away from the Dark Side, reaching out to the light that Luke knew
was still inside Vader. Palpatine prodded Luke about the trap his
friends on the moon were in until Luke attacked. Vader defended
Palpatine and Luke and Vader were locked in battle. But Luke gained
control of his anger and stopped the fight. But Vader probed Luke's
mind and found that he had a twin sister, Leia. Vader used this
to prompt Luke to attack him again. Luke and Vader fought before
Luke finally beat his father back and cut his lightsabre arm off.
Luke then faced Palpatine, who repeatedly attacked Luke with force
lightning. Suddenly, Vader picked up Palpatine and tossed him down
the shaft of the main power core in the Death Star. Vader knew he
was dying and asked Luke to remove his helmet so he could look on
his son with his own eyes for the first - and last - time. His last
dying words: "Luke, you were right. You were right about me."
And then, the man previously known as Anakin Skywalker, died. Luke
took his suit and helmet to Endor and burned them in memorial of
his father. And then three people from the force appeared to him:
Yoda, Obi-Wan, and his father, Anakin Skywalker, all beings luminious
with the light side. |

name: Emperor Palpatine (1)
Rank: Emperor of the Empire
Palpatine at the second Death Star
First seen (as Emperor) in Episode V: Empire
Strikes Back
Evil Incarnate, Palpatine imposed a reign of terror as he ruled
the galaxy for years. The corruption of the Senate allowed him to
come into power. As a senator of the Old Republic from Naboo, he
appeared to be quiet and unassuming, a colourless man lacking in
ambition and guile, who had remained apart from the corruption.
However, Palpatine was the best actor in the galactic political
arena as well as a master of the dark side. Once he had tricked
many people into voting for him to become Chancellor, he moved quickly
to use this power. At first, he seemed to succeed. He streamlined
the corrupt and inefficient bureaucracy. He made speeches that inspired
trust. Slowly, he introduced the parts of his New Order into the
Senate, and before much time had passed he proclaimed himself Emperor,
drawing analogies between himself and the most powerful dynasties
of the past. His Empire, however, was based on tyranny, hatred of
nonhumans, brutal and lethal force, and above all, constant fear.
Those few senators who hadn't been taken by him tried to speak out
against him, but their voices fell on closed ears, and so those
senators decided to support open rebellion, which Palpatine used
as an excuse to dissolve the remaining senate. Senators who didn't
like what Palpatine were doing were either blackmailed or killed.
Execution orders were given for Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis, but
both escaped. But Bel Iblis' family was killed. Palpatine took funds
from social and artistic places and moved it all to the buildup
of a large military to be used to subjugate whole star systems.
He also set out to remove the threat of the Jedi in the galaxy.
He either killed them or converted them, as he did Anakin Skywalker
who became Darth Vader. Few escaped the purge. Palpatine trusted
no one and kept tabs on everyone. Confusion was the order of the
day among his subordinates as confusion was the order of the day.
Palpatine effectively set up a system under which the Empire couldn't
function without him. Once he achieved this, he became a recluse
and only the people who needed to see him could. His moffs and commanders
presented his public face, along with Darth Vader. Palpatine also
was planning for the future by conducting cloning experiments, hoping
to transfer his mind and essence into a younger clone of himself.
The Emperor had the entire galaxy in his grip, and yet a threat
arose: a farm boy from the backwater planet of Tatooine with strong
but undeveloped force abilities that could make him a major threat.
But, Luke Skywalker was, after all, the son of Darth Vader himself.
Even with but a microscopic amount of training, Luke was able to
destroy the first Death Star. That success led to countless uprisings
around the galaxy and the Alliance took on new strength. Vader had
several encounters with Luke, and it was finally at Bespin where
Vader revealed the truth to Luke about his father and offered for
Luke to join him. Luke, of course, denied and flung himself down
Cloud City's main exhaust tube. That left Vader to explain his failure
to Palpatine. Vader stated that is was a ruse to get Luke to join
the dark side. Palpatine then dispatched his top-secret aide, Mara
Jade, to kill Luke, but she also failed. Instead, Luke confronted
Vader and Palpatine in Palpatine's own throne room aboard the Death
Star. He had a vicious lightsabre fight with Vader. Palpatine, unable
to convert Luke to the dark side, attacked him with force lightning
until Vader picked Palpatine up and threw him down the main power
core shaft just before the Death Star was destroyed by the Alliance.
But this wasn't the end of the Emperor. Six years later, he rose
up as a clone of himself on the hidden world of Byss. For a time,
Luke accepted his training, but with the combined force powers of
Luke and his sister, Leia Organa, they were able to destroy the
clone. A few months later, another clone rose up and tried to fuse
with the unborn child of Leia Organa Solo, Anakin. He also planned
to wipe out the galaxy with his new weapon, the Galaxy Gun. Both
plans failed. The last remaining clone of Palpatine was reduced
to ashes and the Galaxy Gun ended up destroying Byss. |

Thrawn at Chimaera
First seen in Heir to the Empire
The only nonhuman ever to be named one of the twelve Grand Admirals
of the Empire, the Chiss officer nearly succeeded in accomplishing
what his mentor, Palpatine, failed to do: destroy the Rebel Alliance.
Thrawn, an intense and focused humanoid, spent most of his military
career conquering the barbaric Unknown Regions and keeping them
under control. He was a complicated individual who had a large hologram
collection representing some of the galaxy's greatest art treasures,
for he believed one could understand - and ultimately defeat - a
species though its art. When he hooked up with Pellaeon, he discovered
that the Empire had been dealt a fatal blow about five years before
with the destruction of the second Death Star. Thrawn gathered together
the ragtag forces of the remaining Empire and put together a strong
military challenge to the New Republic, which he refused to see
as a legitimate governing body and he still referred to it as the
Alliance. He plotted to destroy the Alliance, with Pellaeon to help
him. First, he figured out how to counter the force with the ysalamiri.
Next, he found Wayland, which had experimental weapons, a cloaking
device, Spaarti cloning cylinders, and the mad Jedi clone Joruus
C'baoth. Thrawn also made use of the Noghri species which Vader
had tricked into feeling loyalty to the Empire. The Noghri made
up top-secret Imperial death squads, and one of them, Rukh, was
Thrawn's personal bodyguard. Thrawn sent a commando squad to capture
Leia Organa Solo so that C'baoth could turn her and her unborn twins
to the dark side. C'baoth himself made a plan to lure Luke Skywalker.
Thrawn also had a secret spy on Coruscant - his Delta Source - which
turned out to be ch'hala trees that were living microphones and
transmitter lining the corridors of the New Republic Council. To
test his fleet's readiness, Thrawn launched a hit-and-run attack
on the planet Bpfassh and two other worlds in the Sluis system.
He also stole mole miners from Lando's mining operation on Nkllon
to use in his next attack on the Sluis Van shipyards. Later, he
blackmailed smuggler Niles Ferrier into providing the location of
the Katana fleet. Thrawn escaped with 180 out of 200 ships.
In a move designed to trap the Republic, Thrawn released a number
of cloaked asteroids and confusing sensors into orbit around Coruscant.
At the final battle at the Bilbringi shipyards, Thrawn was surprised
to see a large smuggler force assisting the New Republic, and his
forces were defeated. In the aftermath of the battle, Thrawn's bodyguard,
Rukh - who had realized that the Empire tricked his people - stabbed
Thrawn in the back, literally, and escaped. Thrawn's last words
were, "But, it was so artistically done." |

Rank: Grand Moff
Tarkin at the first Death Star
First seen in Episode IV: A New Hope
Tall with sunken cheeks and piercing blue eyes, he was ruthless
as he was evil, propounding the Tarkin Doctrine of rule through
the fear of force. And Tarkin gave his enemies quite a bit to fear.
An ambitious governor of the Seswenna sector, he fully supported
Palpatine in the Palpatine's takeover of the Old Republic. In return,
Tarkin was named a Moff I in charge of governors of several sectors.
Eventually he became the first Grand Moff, in charge of the Empire's
most important sectors and reported only to the Emperor. Although
married, Tarkin took his mistress, an Imperial Navy enlistee named
Daala, and put her in charge of the top-secret Maw Installation.
He also named her the first female admiral. Under her command, the
Death Star battle station was developed, and it was while Tarkin
was en route to the completed Death Star that his ship was attacked
by the Alliance. They rescued Tarkin's servant, a Mon Calamari by
the name of Ackbar, who had heard many of Tarkin's plans. Undaunted
by this security breach, Tarkin continued to the Death Star. Tarkin
then proceeded with his first act as commander of the battle station:
the destruction of the penal colony of Despayre in the Horuz system.
There were rumors that Tarkin planned to dispose of Palpatine and
take over as Emperor, but those never came to fruition. When it
became known that the plans for the Death Star had been stolen,
Darth Vader was dispatched to retrieve them. He captured Leia and
brought her to Tarkin aboard the Death Star. After her interrogations
failed, Tarkin made Leia watch as he destroyed her home planet of
Alderaan. Later, he listened to Vader's advice and allowed Leia
to escape with her rescue party because they were marked with a
tracking device that would lead them straight to the heart of the
Rebellion. When, at the Battle of Yavin, Tarkin's advisors told
him there was a slight chance that the Rebels could destroy the
Death Star, Tarkin denied them and stayed on the station. He paid
for this decision with his life. |

identify individuals. Vader long ago tricked the Noghri into believing
that the Old Republic was responsible for a blight on their planet

hit squad, and later served Thrawn for the same purpose. But one
of the Noghri recognized, by smell, that Leia was the daughter of
their revered lord, Darth Vader. Leia eventually went with the Noghri
Khabarakh to Honoghr, where - after futile attempts at first - she

They assisted the Alliance in its attack of Mount Tantiss; and Thrawn's
bodyguard, Rukh, slew his master aboard his ship. |

Qwi Xux at the Maw
First seen in Jedi Search
From the brain of this small and willowy woman came some of the
Empire's most destructive weapons, but she found redemption in the
New Republic and the love of one of its officers. A tall, attractive
woman from the planet Omwat, she has blush-tinted skin, long eyelashes
above wide, deep-blue eyes, and hair reminiscent of pearlescent
feathers. Like others of her race, she has a very analytical mind
that - even at the age of ten - indicated a future as a brilliant
designer. At that age she was taken from her planet by Tarkin and
forced into a tough training regimen with nine others; only she
survived. She was assigned to the Maw Installation. She was placed
under the training of Bevel Lemelisk and she excelled at her design
and engineering assignment, sharing in the design of the first Death
Star and the World Devastators. Her most powerful super weapon,
the Sun Crusher, was an indestructible ship that carried resonance
torpedoes with enough firepower to snuff out a star. Naively, she
told herself that her plans could be used to build peaceful objects
used in commerce and manufacturing. When Han Solo, Chewbacca, and
Kyp Durron managed to enter the Maw, she finally let herself see
the true and terrible results of her work, the death and destructions
that her weapons has wreaked upon the galaxy. When Daala told Qwi
that she was going to use the Sun Crusher on the Alliance, she knew
she had to act. She freed the prisoners (Solo, Chewie, and Durron)
and they escaped aboard the only working model of the Sun Crusher.
On Coruscant, Qwi was assigned General Wedge Antilles as a personal
bodyguard and succeeded in convincing the Alliance to dispose of
the Sun Crusher. On a trip to Ithor, just as Xux and Wedge were
falling in love, Kyp Durron decided, on his own, that Qwi's knowledge
of weapons was too dangerous and he killed her memory, erasing most
of her past. She traveled back to the Maw with an Alliance strike
force and found herself in the middle of a fierce battle with Daala,
but she didn't find her lost memory. However, she started the healing
process with the assistance of General Antilles. |

Avatar
name: Ysanne Isard (1)
Rank: Director of Intelligence
Ysanne Isard at Coruscant
First seen in Rogue
Squadron
Director of Intelligence on Imperial Center, her nickname, Iceheart,
fits her perfectly. Isard was the daughter of Emperor Palpatine's
last Internal Security Officer, and she killed her own father so
that she could take his place by the Emperor's side. It was rumored
that she and Palpatine had been lovers. What was beyond doubt was
that she had risen to power following the Emperor's death during
the Battle of Endor, and in his absence she held the Empire together.
Because she considered Rogue Squadron to be a major threat, she
commissioned Kirtan Loor to engineer its destruction. Understanding
the true Alliance objective in its use of Rogue Squadron to capture
Borleias, she realized that it was the beginning of the push to
retake Coruscant. If the Rebels were to succeed, she would do everything
in her power to make it a living hell for them. Isard decided that
the best way to defeat the Republic was to bankrupt it instead of
constantly fighting. So she commissioned Evir Derricote to construct
the Krytos virus, which would be curable by simple bacta. Isard
knew that the Alliance would do everything in its power to heal
everyone by buying all the bacta, which she would soon control.
Eager to destroy the Alliance, she ordered the virus to be injected
into the water supply on Coruscant shortly before the Rebel invasion
of the planet, even though Derricote wasn't finished. When it failed
to infect the populace as rapidly as she had wanted, she blamed
it on Derricote as she retreated to her secret political prison,
the buried Lusankya ISSD. Before leaving, she put Kirtan
Loor in charge of Imperial Center under Alliance control. When she
learned of the duplicity of Kirtan Loor, she activated a sleeper
agent and had him assassinated. Realizing her reign of terror had
ended on Coruscant, she departed the planet and uprooted her ISSD,
causing massive destruction and millions of deaths and injuries.
She then went to Thyferra and supported a revolution that put the
Xucphra Corp. in charge of the bacta cartel. She gained control
of the cartel, and with the installation of Fliry Vorru as Thyferra's
Minister of Trade, the price of bacta skyrocketed. But with the
liberation of Coruscant, Rogue Squadron could concentrate on Isard's
activities, and she soon had to deal with seizures of her bacta
convoys. Now, more than ever, she was determined to destroy Rogue
Squadron. With her spies unable to locate Rogue Squadron's base,
she used another method to catch them unaware at the Graveyard of
Alderaan. She failed miserably at this, too, so she decided to punish
thiose who had accepted the bacta stolen from her convoys. When
even that failed to reveal the squadron's location, she adopted
even more desperate measures. She used the Thyferran Home Defense
Corps to round up and slaughter the native Vratix in an attempt
to flush Rogue Squadron out of hiding. Upon learning this, the squadron
allowed an Isard spy to learn their secret location, setting an
elaborate trap. She swallowed the bait, sending her entire fleet
headfirst into the trap. Isard's armada arrived at Yag'Dhul space
station only to find an ambush waiting. Their confidence badly shaken,
many of Isard's forces scattered and fled back to Thyferra. Rogue
Squdron followed. The battles in space and on the ground went badly
for her. During what turned out to be the final moments in the Bacta
War, Isard attempted an escape, but her shuttle was destroyed before
it could make its jump to hyperspace.
